Free gay dating in Los Angeles.

Distance here is measured in minutes, not miles.

Nobody in Los Angeles yet.

This site is new. Whoever is first here will have a quiet few weeks and will be the reason it is not quiet later.

Los Angeles breaks the usual way of showing who is nearby, because twenty kilometres can be twenty-five minutes or an hour and ten, and only one of those is worth leaving the house for. The grid still sorts by distance — there is no honest way to sort by traffic — but the numbers are rounded and never live, so you can read them for what they are: a rough idea of which side of the city somebody is on.

Nothing about you is sold to anybody. There is no advertising code anywhere on this site, so there is nothing to sell even if somebody made an offer, and no reason for the site to care how long you stay on it.

Everybody verifies with a live selfie before their profile goes anywhere. It takes about a minute, once.

One email, when somebody joins. Not a newsletter, and not passed to anybody.

What everybody here agrees to

  • A live selfie, once. A pose the site picks at random, taken within sixty seconds, matched against the photos on the profile. The selfie is deleted afterwards — by us and by the service that does the matching.
  • No paywall. Messaging is free, all of it, and there is no tier that makes anybody more visible than anybody else.
  • No adverts and no trackers. There is no advertising code on this site, so there is nothing about you to sell.
  • Your exact position is never stored. It is rounded to about a kilometre before it reaches the database.

The full list of what gets somebody removed is in the community rules, and what is held about you is in the privacy page.
