Free gay dating in Chicago.

A long city along a lake, with a winter that changes how people meet.

Nobody in Chicago yet.

This site is new. Whoever is first here will have a quiet few weeks and will be the reason it is not quiet later.

Chicago runs north to south along the water, which makes distance unusually meaningful: two men eight kilometres apart are probably on the same line, and two men thirty kilometres apart are not going to meet on a weeknight between November and March.

The grid here is sorted by distance and rounded, and the people on it have all been verified by a live selfie taken in a pose the site picked at random. Nobody browses unverified, including you — which is the point of the rule, not an exception to it.

Messaging is free. All of it, permanently. There is no premium tier on this site and there is not going to be one.

One email, when somebody joins. Not a newsletter, and not passed to anybody.

What everybody here agrees to

  • A live selfie, once. A pose the site picks at random, taken within sixty seconds, matched against the photos on the profile. The selfie is deleted afterwards — by us and by the service that does the matching.
  • No paywall. Messaging is free, all of it, and there is no tier that makes anybody more visible than anybody else.
  • No adverts and no trackers. There is no advertising code on this site, so there is nothing about you to sell.
  • Your exact position is never stored. It is rounded to about a kilometre before it reaches the database.

The full list of what gets somebody removed is in the community rules, and what is held about you is in the privacy page.
