Germany

Free gay dating in Berlin.

Spread out, with neighbourhoods that are their own towns.

Nobody in Berlin yet.

This site is new. Whoever is first here will have a quiet few weeks and will be the reason it is not quiet later.

Berlin is large and low, and its neighbourhoods behave like separate towns — which means the difference between somebody three kilometres away and somebody fifteen kilometres away is the difference between meeting tonight and meeting in principle. The grid puts that number first.

This site is in English, which in Berlin covers a great many people and not everybody. Worth knowing before you spend a minute on the selfie.

Privacy here is structural rather than promised: there is no column in the database for a legal name or a phone number, the location is rounded before it is stored, and there is no advertising or analytics code on any page. Those are not settings that happen to be switched off.

One email, when somebody joins. Not a newsletter, and not passed to anybody.

What everybody here agrees to

  • A live selfie, once. A pose the site picks at random, taken within sixty seconds, matched against the photos on the profile. The selfie is deleted afterwards — by us and by the service that does the matching.
  • No paywall. Messaging is free, all of it, and there is no tier that makes anybody more visible than anybody else.
  • No adverts and no trackers. There is no advertising code on this site, so there is nothing about you to sell.
  • Your exact position is never stored. It is rounded to about a kilometre before it reaches the database.

The full list of what gets somebody removed is in the community rules, and what is held about you is in the privacy page.
